Elliott Devivo is a freelance clarinettist and bass clarinettist. Over the years he has taken intensive private studies with notable clarinetists such as Richard Hosford, Janet Hilton and Victoria Soames-Samek.

In 2014 he received an Ann Driver Trust Scholarship and in 2015 the Trinity Laban Award to study a two year masters in performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where he studied clarinet and bass clarinet with Michael Whight and Joan Enric Lluna.

Elliott now enjoys a busy career freelancing with orchestras around London and the UK along with regular chamber music performances with the Waldegrave Ensemble.

debut CD project

After premiering a new quintet by Matthew Taylor last year the Waldegrave Ensemble are now working toward recording a CD of his works for wind quintet and octet.

The project is currently in its fundraising stages and applying for funding applications and we will also be launching a crowdfunding campaign / event over the next couple of months. The recording is planned this August with a CD release date later this year.

Jean Francaix
20th Anniversary

Jean Francaix wrote a wide range of works for winds and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his passing the Waldegrave Ensemble will be touring a series of concerts toward the end of 2017 featuring his witty and thrilling 'Wind Quintet no.1' coupled with a new work 'Skål' by composer Matthew Taylor and Berio’s comical storytelling quintet 'Opus Zoo'.

This summer Chez Cartier an ex-cognac distillery will be hosting a series of performances of Mozart's Opera'Cosi Fan Tutte' in its beautiful gardens set within the Bordeaux countryside in France.

Audience members will enjoy pre-performance champagne and canopes along with an interval picnic.

Performances every day at 7:30pm on the 4th, 5th and 6th of August 2017.
